The Neti Pot nasal irrigation.

To use or not to use the Neti Pot to irrigate blocked nasal sinuses.

There is an ongoing craze to use Neti Pot for sinus irrigation. The problem is …….does it work for every Neti Pot user?

Some people commented they felt worse after they rinsed their nasal sinuses with a Neti Pot. And….. you can count me in as one of them.  In the past, I had used the Neti Pot to rinse my blocked nose and its surrounding sinuses.  Am afraid to say that I felt worse than ever after the nasal irrigation.

The saline solution can pool in the surrounding nasal sinuses adding more volume to the mucus that had been trapped in the sinuses. This may cause:

  • Fullness in the ears.
  • Headaches or dizziness.
  • Noises like “swish, swoosh’’ on both sides of the nose when turning the head from side to side.
  • Noises in the ears.
  • Increase nasal congestion and sinus pressure which can be uncomfortable or painful.

There are other people who commented they felt relief from their nasal congestion, after they used the Neti Pot nasal irrigation.

Here is how you can make your own decision.

  1.  Think about how You Feel After the Nasal Rinse.
  2.  Do Your Own Research.  Take photos of your face every few days.

Compare these recent photos. I am sure you will agree with me on this.  ‘PHOTOS DON’T LIE’.

Your face may look more puffy and bloated after each photo. Eyebags, puffy eyelids and frown lines start to appear and looking more prominent as days go by. Due to such findings, perhaps the nasal rinse is not doing you any good. Trust your own judgement. Go and seek advice from your doctors.

Here’s a big secret I wish to share with you. My daily practical techniques can help to clear your stuffed up nose and its surrounding sinuses. Start today and you will be feeling better in no time.
